Luke, St. John Vianney High School - Volunteering at St. Agnes Home has truly been a  transformative experience in my personal and spiritual formation. I was blown away by the entire community's perpetual dedication to hospitality and compassionate care not only for the residents but also for each other. Authentic charity runs deep within the walls of St. Agnes Home, and it is made obvious by the joy of all members of the community- residents, Sisters, staff, and volunteers alike. During my few weeks volunteering at St. Agnes, I met amazing and loving people from all backgrounds and came to better understand what a great gift it is to serve the senior population of our community.  

Lynn - Volunteering at St. Agnes home is a heartwarming and fulfilling experience that brings immeasurable joy to both myself and hopefully the elderly residents. The atmosphere is filled with warmth, God’s love, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie that transcends generational boundaries. Spending time with the seniors, listening to their life stories, and witnessing their faces light up with happiness creates a profound connection that leaves a lasting impact on my heart. Whether engaging in group activities, assisting with recreational programs, or simply sharing a friendly chat, the sense of purpose that comes from brightening someone's day is unparalleled.  I often find that I receive as much, if not more, in return.  I have a profound appreciation for the wisdom and resilience of those we serve. Volunteering at St. Agnes offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others while fostering a deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude for the precious moments shared together.

Kathy  - Getting to know the St. Agnes residents has been a real joy and fulfilling time for me as a volunteer. Talking with them and learning about their lives, past life experiences, and backgrounds is so interesting, and they seem to really enjoy it, too!

Gwen, Cor Jesu Academy - Volunteering at St. Agnes Home was truly a joy and fulfilling experience for me both personally and spiritually. Every day I was able to listen to the residents’ life stories while seeing their faces light up as they talked about their favorite things. Whether I was helping during an activity or having a chat with one of the residents, the people at St. Agnes have made a lasting impact on my life that I will never forget. The entire community at St. Agnes is absolutely amazing in the ways everyone there cares about one another, and I believe that God’s love is truly visible in this community through the laughter, joy, and love that I witnessed as a volunteer at St. Agnes Home.
